Ottawa MEMS Test Engineer

Position: Ottawa MEMS Test Engineer Role
Lumentum seeks a MEMS Test and Verification Engineer in Ottawa, ON. Contribute to MEMS technology supporting WSS products through robust testing and verification processes.

This full-time position focuses on the development and improvement of device-level testing methods and automation systems. You’ll perform various tests and analyze data while collaborating closely with design and manufacturing teams to enhance product quality and yield outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive verification plans and processes

• Optimize automation for MEMS test instruments

• Execute thorough testing across multiple parameters

• Identify and document testing failures and data trends

• Collaborate on quality improvements and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field

• Background in semiconductor testing and characterization

• Strong knowledge of C#, Python, or equivalent

• Familiarity with statistical and data tools

• Experience with optical and electrical testing equipment
