Shape the future of networking as a Test Automation Engineer erage your skill set in Python and test automation to enhance product quality and reliability.
As part of Ciena’s skilled engineering team, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager of SVT/PV Engineering. With over five years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, you will create automated testing frameworks that facilitate smoother product launches. Your collaborative efforts with software developers and product teams will ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and execute automated test plans and cases
• Enhance testing frameworks to improve scalability
• Conduct analysis of test results and defect identification
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Build and validate realistic testing environments
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field
• Minimum 5 years in test automation and quality assurance
• Knowledge of Python and Linux test environments
• Familiarity with version control systems like JIRA
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
