Field Technician - Geotechnical Engineering

As a member of the Geotechnical and Materials Engineering department, you'll conduct essential field and laboratory QA/QC monitoring and testing services. This role requires travel to diverse sites to collect data and samples, as well as perform critical inspections that uphold project integrity. Collaboration with engineers will enhance your technical abilities and promote growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect samples and field data on-site

• Monitor construction QA/QC tests

• Conduct various laboratory testing procedures

• Operate digital testing equipment accurately

• Assist in resolving construction site issues

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma in Civil Engineering Technology

• CCIL/CSA certification for concrete required

• Available for out-of-town projects 1-4 weeks

• Strong initiative and multitasking abilities

• Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs
