Quality Assurance Coordinator

Elevate quality control efforts as a QA/QC Coordinator with Bird in Ottawa. Ensure compliance across multiple project sites while working closely with subcontractors and clients.

This role involves supporting the implementation of the Quality Assurance Program to uphold the highest standards in construction. The successful candidate will engage in daily inspections, documentation reviews, and the maintenance of quality plans and procedures. Regular travel to project locations is required, making adaptability and strong communication skills essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate quality inspections with employees and subcontractors

• Review project-specific documentation and client requirements

• Maintain material and installation traceability

• Support development of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

• Conduct daily site inspections for compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering

• 3+ years of QA/QC experience in construction

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards

• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
