As a vital member of the Geotechnical and Materials Engineering department, you’ll perform essential field and laboratory testing. Collaborate closely with skilled engineers to monitor construction processes and assure quality.
Your role will support overall project success through effective communication and initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel for site evaluations and data collection
• Conduct inspections of drilling and testing operations
• Perform QA/QC monitoring during construction
• Test materials like soil, concrete, and asphalt
• Maintain testing equipment to accurate standards
Requirements:
• Related diploma in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
• Valid CCIL/CSA certification for concrete testing
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
• Capacity to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel
