The role
We are looking for a Real Property Advisor to join our Real Property Planning and Management (RPPM) Branch. The Project Manager would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The position of Real Property Advisor offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the NRC’s real property strategy and ensuring strong alignment between real property planning and our long-term business objectives. The Advisor facilitates the integration of real property priorities into business plans, providing analysis and strategic advice to support portfolio-level decision-making.
Key responsibilities include developing and refining strategic planning processes, preparing analyses and briefing materials to inform management, and establishing objectives for the management of NRC’s real property portfolio.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering or in a field relevant to this position.

Experience
* and significant
** experience conducting analysis and developing policy or strategic documents, briefing materials and recommendations related to real property, asset management or planning.

** experience supporting the development or implementation of frameworks, policies or business processes.
** experience providing advice and recommendations to support planning, cost-benefit analysis or investment decisions related to facilities, infrastructure or real property assets.
** experience coordinating and facilitating input from multiple stakeholders to develop or refine strategic plans, frameworks, related to the management or optimization of real property portfolios.
The following experience would be considered as an asset:
* Recent experience is defined as within the last two (2) years.
** Significant experience is defined as four (4) to seven (7) years of experience.
