We are looking for a dynamic Postdoctoral Fellow, who identifies as a woman, to work within one of our 12 research centres located across Canada for a two‑year term. Interested candidates from any STEM discipline can submit their fellowship research project for consideration. The research project must align with one of NRC’s research centres.
Our research centres span a broad spectrum of activities and enable our researchers and partners to advance research and accelerate commercial development that leads to scientific breakthroughs and innovation.
Screening Criteria- PhD must have been received on or after July 1, 2023, or expected to be completed within 6 months of appointment.
- Experience publishing international caliber research papers in refereed scientific or engineering literature.
- Experience working in a team‑work environment.
- Demonstrated research excellence.
Reliability status: verification of background information over a period of 5 years is required.
Assessment Criteria Technical Competencies- Ability to conceive, organize, conduct, and publish independent research of international calibre.
- Expert knowledge in one or more STEM discipline.
- Expert ability to contribute to the planning and execution of research projects.
- Advanced knowledge of exploitation of research data, including proven ability to analyze or enable interpretation of such data.

CompensationThe position is an early‑career role at the AsRO level with a salary range of $83,985 to $116,641, adjusted for experience.
