WSP Archaeology Field Technician Position

WSP is hiring an Archaeology Field Technician I to conduct fieldwork across multiple sites throughout Southwestern Ontario. This seasonal role involves assisting Field Supervisors in all stages from surveys to excavations. Your ability to thrive in challenging environments and collaborate with peers will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fieldwork involving Stage 2 and Stage 3 assessments

• Support Stage 4 excavation and mitigation projects

• Collaborate with other technicians on-site

• Maintain safety and professional standards consistently

• Adapt to varying outdoor conditions during fieldwork

Requirements:

• Strong physical ability to perform field tasks

• Archaeology or Anthropology degree is an asset

• Valid driver’s license required

• Field experience in Ontario preferred

• Good communication for teamwork and reporting
