Position: Director, Housing Research at CMHC
Lead the Housing Research team at CMHC in a permanent full-time capacity. This hybrid role encompasses oversight of empirical, technical, and strategic research to drive data-led housing insights.

As the Director of Housing Research, you will provide strategic leadership across various research domains. This position requires expertise in socio-economic analysis, construction technologies, and policy evaluation. Collaborate with stakeholders across various levels including government and the housing industry to deliver impactful insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage excellence in empirical, technical, and strategic housing research

• Provide insights from complex data for senior stakeholders

• Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

• Supervise research governance and quality assurance processes

• Anticipate emerging housing challenges to guide future research

Requirements:

• Graduate degree;
PhD in a related field is an asset

• Minimum of 13 years of research and policy analysis experience

• Familiarity with Canadian housing systems and policies

• Fluent communication in both English and French

• Proven ability to lead high-performing research teams
