Professor Claude Bhérer’s Lab at McGill University is looking for a Research Assistant
2. This full-time position requires an MSc in Human Genetics or related fields. You’ll conduct analyses, develop scalable workflows, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to produce high-quality research outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct polygenic risk score construction and Mendelian randomization analyses

• Develop and implement data processing scripts and workflows

• Collaborate with team members to interpret data effectively

• Write reports and articles related to research activities

• Provide training for junior research staff and technicians

Requirements:

• MSc in Human Genetics, Bioinformatics, or similar field

• Strong background in human genetics and statistical genetics

• Experience with large-scale sequencing datasets

• Proficient in Python, R, and Bash scripting

• Excellent communication skills in English and French
