The NRC's Clean Energy Innovation Research Centre is hiring a Research Officer to elevate its Low Carbon Fuels and Clean Combustion Team. Applicants should have a PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering along with significant experience in fuel research. Responsibilities include conducting innovative research and managing projects that drive technological advancements in energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and develop lower-carbon fuel technologies
• Collaborate in a team to optimize combustion processes
• Propose and manage ground-breaking research projects
• Influence overall research strategy and direction
• Offer services to NRC clients effectively
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Four years of substantial research experience in fuels
• Proficiency in experimental and computational techniques
• Strong background in combustion theory and modeling
• Familiarity with advanced combustion strategies
