Paracel Laboratories is seeking an experienced Intermediate Laboratory Analyst for its Metals Group in Ottawa. Utilize ICP-MS technology to process environmental samples efficiently.
This full-time role focuses on sample preparation, analysis, and ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards amidst a high-volume, fast-paced lab setting. Collaborate with the Senior Analyst on troubleshooting while meeting strict turnaround times. Your expertise will uphold Paracel's commitment to accurate environmental analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate ICP-MS for analyzing trace metals
• Review and upload data into LIMS accurately
• Prepare and extract samples following strict protocols
• Conduct daily calibration and maintenance of instruments
• Assist in resolving technical and compliance issues
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemistry/Biology or related discipline
• 3+ years of ICP-MS operational experience
• Familiarity with environmental laboratory standards
• Competence in LIMS and MS Office tools
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
