Reporting to the Director, Policy and Government Relations, this key position leads research and data initiatives that influence policy development for Canadian universities. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex issues into coherent policy guidance. You will engage in high-impact projects, shaping the future of educational and research sectors across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain expertise in Canadian university governance and trends
• Develop and oversee policy papers and analytical reports
• Conduct and synthesize advanced policy research and data analysis
• Manage relationships with external research partners
• Supervise and mentor Policy and Research Officers
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in public policy or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in policy development or research
• Proven experience in managing complex projects
• Understanding of federal policy processes
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
