Position: Cobalt Mining Research Assistant Role
Pursue research excellence as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, focusing on artisanal and small-scale mining's impact on the cobalt sector. This part-time role will allow you to conduct vital literature reviews and analyses.

This position for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester is located within the Faculty of Social Sciences. You will analyze the complex dynamics between artisanal and large-scale mining sectors within the Democratic Republic of Congo, contributing meaningful insights into the cobalt industry. Your knowledge base will be crucial in summarizing findings and shaping research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze literature on mining sectors

• Summarize key research texts

• Support ongoing faculty research projects

Requirements:
