Position: Biomedical Scientist for Drug Discovery
Be part of Lunella Biotech's mission to develop novel anti-ageing therapies. In this Biomedical Scientist role, you'll target metabolic dysfunction in aging cells through innovative drug discovery methods.
This position emphasizes the screening and validation of FDA-approved drugs and natural products that combat aging in cancer stem cells and senescent fibroblasts. Collaborate with a dynamic team of scientists and engage in various intricate experimental techniques, including flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry, to identify and validate drug efficacy against age-related metabolic changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute experiments testing hypotheses on cancer and aging

• Plan and validate experiments targeting CSCs and senescent cells

• Apply advanced research techniques for drug hit validation

• Maintain detailed records of experiments and analyses

• Present data in lab meetings and contribute to publications
Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in biological or pharmaceutical sciences

• Experience in flow cytometry and cell culture

• Proven track record in drug screening techniques

• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills

• Ability to learn and adapt to new methods
