Reporting to the Associate Vice-President of Research, Innovation, Partnerships and Entrepreneurship, you will oversee large funding programs while advising teams on competitive proposal submissions. Your strategic insights will help shape projects aligning with funding initiatives and institutional priorities, ensuring impactful research outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement strategic research initiatives
• Monitor research trends to recommend new projects
• Guide researchers on proposals aligning with strategies
• Advise on funding opportunities to enhance competitiveness
• Connect teams with partners for improved funding capacity
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in sciences;
PhD preferred
• 7+ years in research administration or similar roles
• Knowledge of funding agency practices
• Experience with major research proposals
• Strong analytical and communication skills
