Elevate your career as a Radio ecologist in Chalk River, Ontario, where you will investigate how radionuclides influence our environment. This is a hands-on role requiring both fieldwork and laboratory analysis to drive research initiatives.

We seek applicants with a postgraduate degree and substantial experience in radio ecology. You’ll conduct significant environmental studies, collaborating with various agencies while providing technical expertise to support innovative research. Your ability to communicate complex findings will enhance collaborative efforts and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and lead field and lab-based environmental research

• Create and manage detailed research plans and budgets

• Assess radionuclides and their ecological risks

• Develop reports and present findings to stakeholders

• Collaborate with Indigenous communities on research activities

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in relevant Earth or Environmental Sciences

• 3-5 years' experience in radio ecology and research

• Experience with measurement of environmental isotopes

• Knowledgeable in statistical analysis software

• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
