Drive innovation in fusion energy as a Fusion Program Scientist with CNL. This role focuses on technical leadership in tritium technology and collaboration with global experts for a sustainable energy future.
CNL is seeking an experienced scientist to advance its fusion program and coordinate activities at the Centre for Fusion Energy. You will engage with multiple stakeholders, support research operations, and facilitate the commercialization of emerging fuel-cycle systems. Your scientific expertise in fusion technologies will play a pivotal role in enhancing Canada’s research efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support development of CNL's fusion program initiatives
• Coordinate fusion-related activities with stakeholders
• Manage scheduling of research activities at CNL
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners
• Track and report on research project milestones
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science;
Ph.D. preferred
• 8-10 years in scientific or engineering disciplines
• Strong fusion technology expertise
• Experience in project management and proposal writing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
