Q-Block Computing is seeking a Lead Experimental Researcher to spearhead significant research programs in quantum physics and experimental methodologies. The role is full-time and on-site, ideal for someone with a PhD and over four years of industry experience. Your leadership in experimental science will define the future of the research agenda and mentor junior colleagues in embracing high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and execution of experimental research
• Make high-stakes decisions to de-risk research outcomes
• Mentor junior researchers for scientific growth
• Contribute to program strategy and new research directions
• Represent the research program in scientific communities
Requirements:
• PhD in Physics, Applied Physics or similar
• 4+ years of relevant post-PhD experience
• Demonstrated project leadership in experimental research
• Strong publication record or evidence of contributions
• Commitment to rigorous scientific methods
