As part of the Clean Energy Innovation Research Centre, you will partake in high-impact research supporting clean combustion initiatives. The ideal Research Officer will possess significant experience in fuels and clean combustion, and be adept in experimental or computational methodologies.
Your role will involve project management, developing new research proposals, and collaborating with top-tier researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on low carbon fuels and combustion
• Optimize and characterize fuel applications in engines
• Develop proposals for new research initiatives
• Manage projects related to clean combustion
• Provide expertise to NRC clients on energy conversion
Requirements:
• PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 4+ years in fuels and clean combustion research
• Advanced knowledge in combustion theory
• Experience with alternative fuel characterization
• Knowledge of numerical modeling techniques
Contribute to impactful research in clean combustion and low carbon fuels at NRC, aiming for innovation in energy technologies.
