The University of Ottawa is seeking a Research Assistant for the 2026 Fall Semester within the Common Law Section. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on national and international maritime policies
• Prepare analytical reports and recommendations
• Attend and participate in a maritime policy conference
• Collaborate with professors and students on project objectives
• Follow up on conference outcomes for practical application
Requirements:
• Law degree and excellent academic performance
• Experience in maritime law and legal research
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
• Diligence in task execution and participation at events
• Enrollment in relevant maritime law courses preferred
