We are currently recruiting for a Quartermaster Coordinator to work in person at our headquarters in Ottawa.
What you will be doing…
The incumbent oversees and handles the movement of inventory. This includes placing orders, receiving the deliveries, moving it from the back warehouse to the clothing store, and distributing them to our Commissionaires, including handling any returns. The incumbent also performs all other related duties and responsibilities, as required.
Some of your responsibilities include…
Maintain proper inventory levels in the warehouse, in a timely manner, to ensure that the operational demands of the Commissionaires-Ottawa Clothing Store are metControl the movement of inventory between the warehouse and the clothing storePerform timely monthly inventory counts and investigate any discrepanciesMaintain a record of spoiled, damaged, or written-off itemsPrepare purchase orders, receive material from suppliers, and ensure quality assurance by verifying quantities and quality of products against purchase orders, packing slips and garment standardsMaintain relationships with various suppliers and resolve shortages, missed deliveries, and all other potential issuesIssue uniforms to security guards working at Commissionaires-Ottawa, handle returns and maintain recordsTake measurements of the guards who may require assistance with sizing for their uniformsOrder the item(s) of clothing, assess, prepare, and approve alteration requestsReview and manage customer queries received by phone, email, and in person, and forward the request to the appropriate team member to resolve any issuesWhat’s in it for you?

Successful completion of a diploma in Administration, or in a related fieldAt least 2 years of previous experience with inventory control, warehousing, or in a similar fieldAn equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredHave, or able to obtain a Reliability security clearanceSpeak, read & write fluently in English and FrenchApplication Process
