Retail Cleaner

Adecco is currently looking for a Retail Cleaner to work part-time hours for our client located in East-end of Ottawa. This would be 12 hours a week, with some flexibility for which days are worked. • Pay rate: $18.50/hour
• Location: Ottawa, ON
• Contract Length: 1 month
• Job type: Part-time | Temporary (16 hours a day)

Responsibilities:

• Sweep and mop floors regularly;
• Clean and sanitize washrooms;
• Perform deeper cleaning in crevices and hard-to-reach areas of the store;
• General cleaning tasks throughout the store;
• Dust and wipe down shelves, displays, and fixtures;
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly;
• Replenish cleaning supplies as needed;
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the store manager;
• Follow all health and safety regulations;

The Retail Cleaner must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills in english.
• Comfortable working in a high-end retail environment
