Assistant Manager – DSW

Designer Brands Canada invites candidates to join our team. In this role you will report to the Store Manager and help lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and delivering great customer service.

• Lead the store team to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience goals.
• Model exceptional customer service and a compelling shopping experience.
• Manage store operations including policies, schedules, payroll, shrink loss prevention, and reporting.
• Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent.
• Represent DSW brand values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity.
• Develop and execute business plans to meet results.
• Support teamwork and change within the store and district.
• Maintain open communication with the Store Manager.

• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets.
• Energetic team leader with strong motivational skills.
• Excellent computer skills – e‑mail, MS Word, Excel or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while delivering a strong customer experience.
• Willingness to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
