Do you have a passion for customers, their occasions and beverage alcohol? In this LCBO store leadership role, and under the general supervision of the Store Manager, you’ll build a robust store team. Every day you’ll drive store results and champion responsible retailing.

Role- Deliver remarkable experiences as the trusted destination for the world’s wines, beers and spirits.
- Drive the customer experience in store by developing a customer‑first team mentality in all aspects of the store’s operation and program execution.
- Apply skills in customer service, inventory management, financial management, merchandising, retail sales and human resources.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, team‑building, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Assess understanding of social responsibility, facilities management, resource protection, health & safety, WSIB, workplace accommodation, environmental issues and workplace diversity.
- Show solid understanding of the internet/intranet and computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, web‑based ordering and Workforce Management.
- Build and mentor a team.
- Play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store as an Operations Manager.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, primarily for evening and weekend shifts.
- Bring a customer‑centric attitude. Enjoy spending time on the store floor and encouraging community service.
- Provide feedback, empower people, and mentor in the moment. Execute magnificently in the store.
- Know store numbers. Forecast and analyze sales and expenses. Build a plan to engage the team and grow the business.
- Have 5 years or more of retail experience in progressive roles such as Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainer, Departmental Manager, or District Manager. Demonstrate leadership, business savvy, relationships, and self‑management. Experience leading unionized employees is an asset.
- High school graduate or bring equivalent experience.
- College diploma, certificate or university degree in business or retail management is a bonus.
