As a Sales Associate, you’ll connect with fellow pet lovers while providing exceptional service at Pet Valu, a leading pet retailer. You'll engage customers in finding the right nutrition and supplies for their pets, all while contributing to meaningful community efforts through charitable partnerships.
Your role will include cashier duties, inventory management, and general store maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
• Handle cashier duties and banking paperwork effectively
• Stock small items in the sales area efficiently
• Perform store maintenance including sweeping and dusting
• Assist in unloading and stocking pet food and supplies
Requirements:
• Previous retail or customer service experience required
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from the store
