Lead customer experiences at Famous Footwear through shoe expertise, sales focus, and a welcoming in-store culture for every shopper.
As a Famous Footwear Sales Lead, you inspire associates, support Customer Connection, and drive sales with purpose. You help maintain store operations, including pricing, inventory, opening, closing, cleanliness, and organization. You also share trend knowledge, recommend styles, and help customers find the perfect fit. This position includes coaching and mentoring associates while communicating direction from the store manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspire teammates through integrity, drive, caring, and camaraderie
- Coach associates on selling behaviors and Customer Connection
- Drive sales and remain accountable for performance goals
- Manage pricing, inventory, opening, closing, and store organization
- Recommend shoe styles that match customer needs
- High School Diploma or GED
- Retail store management or relevant management experience
- Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
- Ability to mentor and train associates
- Flexible availability for holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
