Lead front-end service at The Home Depot by coaching associates, operating cash machines, and resolving customer issues. Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends.
The Head Cashier supports the Front End Supervisor while motivating associates to follow GET behaviours and deliver a strong shopping experience. You will coach, train, and develop Front End and Lot Associates. The position also maintains coverage, communicates priorities, and provides first-level escalation for customer concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Coach associates toward GET behaviours and positive morale
- Maintain checkout coverage and acceptable customer lines
- Communicate goals and directions from store leadership
- Operate cash machines and train cashiers accordingly
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year leading people
- One to two years retail or cash experience an asset
- Customer focus and effective communication
- Leadership, cash handling, and problem-solving skills
