About the Role

The Trade Marketing Manager supports the Sales and Trade teams by enabling sales execution and leveraging data to drive in-market implementation of 4

Ps initiatives. The role focuses on driving in-market activity that leads to improved sales and market share.

Your responsibilities
  • Own the 4P strategy across multiple brands and develop trade decks using data to create winning growth stories.
  • Support the Trade Marketing Team with in-depth data analysis of current market strategies and 4P tactics, uncovering new brand and category building opportunities.
  • Apply customer, consumer and industry insights using Nielsen, POS, market research and custom studies.
  • Provide brand and category insights for the annual sales planning process and shape 4P recommendations for key customers' plans.
  • Understand national strategic frameworks and drill down to the customer level, working with key account managers to tailor national strategies for key customers.
  • Work cross‑functionally with sales and operations planning to ensure alignment on 4P delivery.
  • Analyse competitive promotion plans and recommend defensive promotional strategies.
  • Prefer experience with P&L management.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (formulas, pivot tables, chart creation).
  • Measure performance and impact of initiatives.
  • Communicate results clearly and effectively across the business using storytelling.
The experience we're looking for
  • University degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, brand marketing or other business operations.
  • Knowledge of consumer‑packaged goods or retail industry an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to build a sell story.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth data analysis, develop hypotheses and convert data into persuasive insights.
  • Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen) preferred.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Nielsen/IRI).
  • Curious, inquisitive and open‑minded with a drive to uncover deep insights.
  • Independent sense of urgency; self‑driven and willing to learn.
  • Good interpersonal and time‑management skills.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
