Medical Communications Account Manager

This Account Manager role serves pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, academic, and nonprofit organizations. You will manage trusted client relationships, expand accounts, coordinate medical communications projects, and support revenue growth. The position combines consultative account management with commercial strategy in a science-focused setting.

• Serve as primary contact for assigned medical communications accounts
• Grow accounts through cross-selling and upselling services
• Coordinate writers, editors, consultants, timelines, and budgets
• Prepare proposals, presentations, scopes, and service agreements
• Generate business through networking, referrals, outreach, and conferences

• At least five years in account management and business development
• Experience with in medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or scientific industries
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced related degree is an asset
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• CRM familiarity and ability to coordinate multiple accounts remotely
