About the Role
The Company is seeking a District Vice President, Investment Sales to develop and implement sales strategies across its investment channels. The role focuses on building and strengthening relationships with financial advisors, promoting investment solutions, and achieving sales and annual production targets. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, sharing insights to help advisors grow their practices, and delivering advisor and investor seminars.
The successful candidate will collaborate with sales colleagues and other field partners, maintain regular advisor contact, track activities, and share effective sales and business-development practices.
Candidates should have at least three years of investment sales experience and detailed knowledge of the financial services industry and capital markets. Experience selling investment products through relevant dealer channels and in-depth knowledge of mutual fund, ETF, and separately managed account platforms are required. Completion of the IFIC mutual funds course or the Canadian Securities Course is preferred. Strong organization, decision-making, planning, creative thinking, communication, presentation, conflict-resolution, and computer skills are also important.
