Build professional customer relationships and sell project solutions as a Pro Account Sales Associate with The Home Depot. Use product knowledge across every store department.
This sales associate position serves industrial, commercial, and other professional customers. You will develop accounts, provide outstanding service, and guide complete project purchases. The work combines sales-floor prospecting, customer follow-up, order processing, and product expertise. You will report to the Department Supervisor while supporting store-wide Pro Program involvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect new business with customers shopping inside the store
- Develop one-on-one relationships with Pro customers
- Clarify needs and recommend products and services
- Create quotes and process orders accurately
- Follow up to ensure satisfaction and pursue future business
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year receiving experience
- Thorough knowledge of products across all departments
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates
- Ability to lift and move heavy, bulky items independently
