Ottawa Riverkeeper is seeking a Water Quality Assistant to work with our science team.

  • Hourly Wage: $21.25/hr
  • Hours:

    37.5 hrs/week

What you will do

As Water Quality Assistant you will lead and coordinate the collection, analysis, and publication of recreational water quality data in the watershed. This will include:

  • Conducting on site water quality testing, including travel to local beaches to complete regular monitoring activities
  • Collecting and analyzing water samples in our Learning Lab
  • Collaborating with the Communications Team to inform the public about water quality
  • Ensure that Swim Guide, an app used by the public throughout the summer, is updated promptly and the information presented is accurate
  • As a key team member during our busiest season, this role may involve working on various summer projects including outreach, communications and events

Tâches à réaliser
