Security Guard - Nepean - Casual

Securiguard Services is looking for casual experienced security guards for a commercial site located in Nepean.

At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Weekend availability is a mandatory requirement for this position. Only applicants with weekend availability will be contacted.

Requirements and Skills:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• 1 year of security experience, preferred
• Diploma/Degree in the field of security or law enforcement preferred i.e Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etc
• Excellent communication & report writing skills
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy
• Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours
• Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment
• A valid drivers license & having a personal vehicle is an asset

Pay rate: $20.55
