You as a Student Security Administrator will:- Physical Security Specifics
:
For physical security roles, tasks might include assisting with asset management tracking. - Inventory
:
Itemizing documents and creating a naming & control system. - Monitoring and Analysis
:
Monitoring security systems, logs, to detect potential threats or unauthorized access attempts. - Risk and Vulnerability Assessment
:
Conducting vulnerability assessments of applications or networks, and helping implement controls to mitigate risks. - Policy and Compliance
:
Assisting in the development, review, testing and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines. - Project Support
:
Collaborating on security-related projects, which may involve implementing new security tools, designing solutions, or managing project coordination tasks. - Reporting and Documentation
:
Collecting security metrics, preparing reports and maintaining documentation related to security assets and processes.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- SharePoint experience considered an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
