Position: Securiguard Loss Prevention Role
Join Securiguard as a Loss Prevention Security Guard, safeguarding assets while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of observation and conflict resolution to prevent theft and uphold safety.

In this essential position, your responsibilities include conducting surveillance and reporting incidents to prevent losses for retail clients. You will patrol various locations across Ottawa while interacting positively with customers and employees. Your background in security or law enforcement is an asset to ensure a safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols and surveillance activities

• Identify and address potential theft or fraud

• Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation

• Enforce security protocols and de-escalate conflicts

• Work collaboratively with law enforcement as required

Requirements:

• Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certification

• Minimum 1 year of security experience in retail

• Ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele

• Knowledge of relevant laws and procedures

• Willingness to work flexible hours across multiple sites
