Asset Protection Security Guards

Become an Asset Protection Security Guard at Securiguard and enhance security at retail locations across Ottawa.

Your role is pivotal in protecting assets and maintaining public safety through vigilance and customer service.

As part of our team, you will monitor and secure retail premises, utilizing your skills to prevent theft and other risks. The position demands collaboration with law enforcement and effective customer engagement, all while ensuring compliance with legal protocols. Your proactive approach will help create a secure shopping atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol retail premises and monitor for suspicious activities

• Prevent theft and investigate incidents effectively

• Interact with customers to enhance their shopping experience

• Prepare and file incident and security reports

• Collaborate with local law enforcement authorities

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR

• At least 1 year of security experience preferred

• Strong communication and situational awareness skills

• Understanding of the Criminal Code and relevant laws

• Ability to work various shifts and locations in Ottawa
