Advance your career with Allied Universal as a Bilingual Security Guard in Ottawa, Ontario. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring safety through diligent monitoring and effective communication in both English and French.
As a Bilingual Security Guard in the GSOC, you will oversee security systems, respond to incidents, and maintain operational records. Strong analytical and multitasking skills are essential, along with at least six months of experience in a similar role. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with government security procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor CCTV and various security systems
• Respond quickly to alarms and security breaches
• Dispatch personnel as required during incidents
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs
• Effectively communicate in English and French with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of GSOC or relevant security experience
• Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends
