Position: Detection Specialist - Security Role

In this full-time role as a Detection Specialist, you will control access to key legislative spaces and protect Canada’s democracy. Utilizing advanced technology, you'll screen personal belongings and vehicles, interpret images, and address security concerns professionally. Key Responsibilities:

• Screen individuals and their belongings effectively

• Interpret visual information from security equipment

• Report and escalate any security issues identified

• Assist visitors with directions and inquiries

• Remain aware in high-traffic areas

Requirements:

• Completion of a post-secondary diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication and decision-making skills

• Experience in security setups is an asset

• Capability to handle rotating shifts

• Security clearance must be obtained
