Private Investigator - Undercover Investigations

Compensation

• $35.00 per hour (before overtime)
• Hotel accommodations provided when required
• $30 per diem when lodging required

1–120 days.

• Conduct covert and undercover surveillance operations to gather intelligence and evidence in corporate settings such as factory floors, restaurants, night clubs and other locations.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects discreetly.
• Document and report findings accurately and comprehensively.
• Conduct thorough investigations into assigned cases, including background checks, interviews, and research.
• Blend in with surroundings and play assigned role.
• Collaborate with team members and law enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards.

• Valid Private Investigator license in Ontario.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within the home province for extended periods (minimum 4‑week commitment).
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to sit, walk, stand, and/or drive for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Experience dealing with confrontational situations and ability to de‑escalate with little to no supervision.
• Experience with the court injunction process.
• Excellent report‑writing skills.
• Bonus: experience in policing, military, or other relevant fields.
