Position: Protective Services Officer at The Mint
Join The Mint as a Protective Services Officer, ensuring security in a high-stakes environment. This full-time role demands vigilance, risk assessment, and strong policy enforcement.

As a Protective Services Officer, you will be the first line of defense at The Mint. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring assets, conducting thorough inspections, and maintaining high-security protocols. With a focus on safeguarding staff and property, you'll undergo specialized training, including first aid and HAZMAT response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Protect RCM assets from internal and external threats

• Assess and mitigate risks daily for safety

• Advise and enforce security policies and regulations

• Conduct inspections for high-security products

• Provide access control for individuals and assets

Requirements:

• Post-secondary certificate or diploma preferred

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificate

• Experience in high-security environments an asset

• Firearms Possession & Acquisition Licence is a plus

• Proficiency in English and French required
