Position: NAC Security Officer - Part-Time Role
Join the National Arts Centre as a part-time Security Officer and contribute to a safe environment for visitors and artists. Deliver professional customer service while ensuring facility security.

This role, under the Manager of Security Services, involves monitoring access points and responding to inquiries. Candidates should possess a background in security and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Your commitment to safety will greatly enhance visitor experiences at the NAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee visitor access and respond to operational needs

• Utilize Security Management Software for incident documentation

• Monitor crowd control during events and performances

• Provide first aid and emergency response as necessary

• Perform regular patrols of facilities at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma with minimum three years security experience

• Proven valid provincial Security Guard License

• Knowledge of security systems including CCTV

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work under pressure and diverse situations
