Security Manager

Position: Security Manager Role
Lead security operations at Bird's Ottawa office as a Security Manager, focusing on compliance and incident management. Ensure project security and communication with defense stakeholders.

In this pivotal role reporting to the National Security Officer, you will oversee project security requirements, maintain a Security Implementation Plan, and provide leadership to the security team. Your experience in security management and coordination is key to supporting sensitive information and asset protection within high-security projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chair bi-weekly project security meetings

• Maintain and update the Security Implementation Plan

• Direct management of the security team

• Coordinate with DND and DCC security representatives

• Investigate and report security incidents and breaches

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in security coordination or management

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred

• Strong knowledge of CSP requirements and personnel screening

• Experience leading security personnel and processes

• Capability to hold a Government of Canada security clearance
