Position: Experienced Law Enforcement Officer Needed

This role requires police officers with a high school diploma and a Basic Constable Training Diploma, who are committed to serving their community. At OPS, we value the unique backgrounds of our officers as they contribute to our diversity and enhance community relations. Applicants will be required to adjust to a varied shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an effective law enforcement presence

• Collaborate with community members to improve public safety

• Attend mandatory training sessions as required

• Adapt to a 24/7 shift schedule, including holidays

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with diverse groups

Requirements:

• Current Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of policing experience preferred

• Valid Ontario Driver's License

• Good standing with previous police service
