Security Guard

Position: Security Guard at CHEO
Enhance your security career with CHEO as a Security Guard in Ottawa, providing vital support for patients, staff, and visitors. This role focuses on safety, patrolling, and responding to emergencies.

As a Security Guard at CHEO, you will assist individuals by responding to code calls and conducting security patrols throughout the facility. You will also manage parking lot coverage and perform critical investigations needed in emergency situations. Utilizing conflict resolution skills, your role ensures a safe environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients, staff, and visitors with their needs

• Conduct responsive security patrols and investigations

• Operate the Fire Control System as needed

• Escort individuals to parking and other areas

• Write reports using approved software

Requirements:

• Diploma in Law and Security or Police Sciences

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License

• Superior communication skills, oral and written

• Bilingual in English and French preferred
