Enterprise Security Systems Technician

Support enterprise security systems at Canadian Bank Note Company in Ottawa through surveillance, access control, and on-site technical expertise.

This permanent, full-time Security Systems Technician maintains CBN’s complex multi-site security environment. The on-site position combines troubleshooting, system administration, structured cabling, and contractor coordination. You will support video surveillance, physical access control, intercoms, servers, applications, and related infrastructure across North American facilities.

• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise surveillance and access control systems
• Administer Lenel OnGuard, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, and related platforms
• Coordinate installations, upgrades, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication
• Manage contractors, quotes, hardware validation, standards, and critical spares
• Coordinate structured cabling requirements across North American facilities

• Three years’ experience in structured cabling or commercial security
• Knowledge of access control and network-based surveillance systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret clearance
• Eligibility to work in Canada or the United States
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, travel, and participate in on-call rotation
