Job Title: Casual Security Guard

Pay Rate: $18.35 per hour (or depending on site)

Schedule: Varies
Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement (AA) calculated after 88 hours
This casual position supports various client locations across Ottawa's West End. Working across these sites provides a dynamic environment where you will support daily safety operations, assist visitors, and ensure security standards are maintained across different facilities.
What You'll Be DoingConduct foot patrols of assigned areas to maintain safety and security.
Greet employees, visitors, and guests at designated entrances.
Monitor CCTV cameras and manage access control systems from the control room.
Perform parking enforcement duties as required by the client site.
Perform additional security duties as assigned.
Must HavesValid First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
Nice-to-HavesPrevious security guard experience.
Post-secondary education in a Law Enforcement or Security program from a recognized college.
