Temporary Pathologists' Assistant Position

This role, available until May 14, 2027, requires a certified Pathologists' Assistant who has gained 6 to 12 months of experience with complex cancer cases. You will identify specimen issues, manage records, and may rotate through various job functions to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the reception and preparation of pathology samples

• Accession and conduct diagnostics on clinical specimens

• Analyze results and generate detailed reports

• Assist in training while resolving specimen quality issues

• Keep precise records of all procedures and tests

Requirements:

• Certification by the CCCPA required

• Minimum of 6 months working with cancer samples

• In-depth knowledge of laboratory and health regulations

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities

• Understanding of health and safety workplace standards
