Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients by delivering personalized support tailored to their needs. - Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols and maintain accurate documentation
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional requirements are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well‑being
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with individualized care plans
- Follow all safety procedures and infection control protocols, especially when working with vulnerable populations such as those with dementia or disabilities
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of senior care practices and working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Ability to administer medications accurately and responsibly
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Compassionate attitude towards clients requiring specialized care such as dementia or medication management
- Valuable organizational skills to follow care plans and document services provided
- Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and work environments
