Plumbing Technician
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance, the Plumbing Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and heating (boiler) systems within the board. The role also performs other duties as assigned and may require occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications , Experience, Knowledge & Skills- Secondary school graduation diploma.
- Completed plumbing apprenticeship program, including the equivalent of one year of community college.
- Ontario Plumbing License.
- Two years of related commercial experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Assets:
- Experience with commercial heating system repair/maintenance.
- Certificate in Backflow Prevention Maintenance and Inspection.
Term, full‑time position with an annual salary of $79,100.90 (prorated to reflect the term).
Start date:
approximately January 12, 2026;
Expected end date:
March 27, 2026.
